In consideration of the just previous post (Even the Losers) allow me to elaborate a little bit concerning losers. And by the way: I don’t mean to be criticizing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Even the Losers is a GREAT song. Love it!
The point I’d like to touch on is this: some forlorn individuals *enjoy* characterizing certain other people as losers. I’ve witnessed this arrogant statement my entire life. It’s a most unfortunate egotistical manifestation. The real loser in this scenario is the person who is accusing the other person of being a loser. That person has lost sight of the PRIMARY DYNAMIC operative in the entire cosmos => the most powerful force in the universe ===>>> LOVE!
Ultimately… after all accounts get settled, “yes”, there will be a lot of losers. In the interim though, we’d be best served to “love others as we love ourselves.” That’s what the Master taught us. We need to be careful about calling other people losers. Be wary of those who look down upon others. The only true losers in this life are the people who have given up!
