I just want to re-iterate my closing suggestion to skeptics from my last post. I have urged the skeptic to read the first four chapters of the New Testament. I urge you ‘bad boys to read (possibly re-read) FOR YOURSELF what Jesus actually proclaimed. You can more effectively dispense with this odious subject entirely if you can dismantle it piece-by-piece, right?
There is SUPERNATURAL substance embedded and inherent in the Gospel. It is very difficult (even for the unbeliever) to read the Words of Jesus and not be touched in some small fashion by the supernatural.
The Spirit of God inhabits The Word. God is very near when you read The Word – even though many there are who will not perceive Him. If you don’t feel even the vaguest hint of the supernatural, then… well frankly, it’s not good news, pilgrim. The enemy has achieved a worst-case scenario in your life. You have been blinded. You have been deceived but you don’t even realize it. Your heart has become hardened.
It always saddens me. There is a right and a wrong… and there is a God. I pray for you.
Psalms 111:10. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom…”
Peace out,
