John Lennon: Stand By Me

Dreams are strange, often frightening, but sometimes wonderful. Dreams are musical in an allegorical sense, allowing the mind to wander, to imagine, to explore, to be challenged – somehow to be refreshed.
As do music and poetry, in a different fashion dreams open up emotive dimensions and landscapes previously not considered by normal thought processes. Dreams can scare you. Dreams can challenge you. Dreams can reveal things to you. Dreams weave memories and emotions together into a wild and strange tapestry of action and adventure that often seems alien.
Disparate spectrums of thought and emotion create a holodeck-type experience. Somewhat like conscious life itself, I often wonder: am I here or am I not here? Is this real or am I lost somewhere? What does it mean? Who is that? Is that me!? Oh my gosh! That is me! Get the heck out of there, you numbskull!! What do you think you’re doing?!
Dreaming will energize the imagination in aimless, uncontrolled fashion; abandoning it to wander around like some bewildered wildebeest stranded in a strange habitat.
Often there is a muse looking over one’s shoulder, trying to stay hidden, but undeniably there… creating and directing an unfolding drama meant to do *what???* The muse splices and juxtaposes things together into a strange and often discomforting “you are there” jazz-like experience. Varying in meaning and depth and enjoyment… dreamscapes are as wide and as unfathomable as the deep blue sea.
Usually, dreams will try to flee away from you as you awake. Try to catch a glimpse of them as they quickly stealth away from you. Don’t let them get away with this run-away and hide stuff so often. There will ofttimes be a fertile opportunity for reflection.
And less I be remiss: it should also be considered that God can speak to us in a dream. God can give us revelation. He can speak to us of the future. He can give us direction. God can edify and clarify – showing us things we didn’t understand before: things about ourselves, things about our situation, things about others, things we’d normally never even ponder etc. etc. In Acts 2:17 it says:
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Wow! Pretty wild promises there, huh? Dissecting (only) the last part of this verse… it’s curious to me the wording: “dream dreams.” How does one “dream” a “dream?” Dreams within a dream? Meaningfully, the word “dream” in this verse is used as a verb. That implies that dreaming is a *conscious* part of mental awareness and capability. And indeed, that’s true, isn’t it? We dream; we imagine; we indulge in all kinds of revery much of the time. Dreaming would seem to be an essential part of the human thought process => a huge slice of life.
God encourages us to broaden our horizons and dream (wide-awake dreaming). Dream big. Dream mightily. Dream with faith and vision and purpose. DREAM and BELIEVE! There’s so much more to this supernatural world that we live in. What is visibly apparent is most certainly not the whole nine yards.
Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
<= Talk about affording us magnificent opportunity to dream (referencing the above two verses) 😃 We have the KEYS TO THE KINGDOM, brothers and sisters! Dream on all you wild and crazy dreamers! DREAM ON!! 😀🙏🌈

Postscript: After I had originally written this post, later on that same day, I coincidentally(?) stumbled onto this FANTASTIC teaching in YouTube from Rabbi (born-again) Schneider => about dreams. Brothers and sisters, you just have to listen to this unbelievably rich teaching about dreams. Rabbi’s teaching is the real nitty-gritty. You just gotta’ listen to it. I promise you’ll be blessed.
I’ve witnessed this sad and depressing circumstance more times than I could ever relate – in a thousand different guises. People are going down the tubes: left and right. The general alarm that is being sounded has been dimmed and party-line covered up by a world gone mad.
The longer sin and wickedness has you tied down, the harder it is to understand and appreciate the grace and wonder of God’s love. The longer that one has been held captive, the harder it is going to be to rescue your immortal soul.
One is BORN into sin. As sin and the world increase their grasp, the more difficult it is to get through to a hardened heart. And make no mistake about it: if you have not been saved, you are indeed a captive – and your heart will increasingly turn hard. It’s just the way this old world works on you.
There is a spiritual WAR going on down here – all around you and especially INSIDE of you. There is a war being waged for your very soul. And you best believe it, pilgrim – because even if you don’t, it’s still happening to you.
As in war, there are the front lines, and then there are lots of battles going on BEHIND primary battle lines. The longer you have been behind enemy lines, the harder it’s going to be for the true ally of your soul to come to your aid and assistance.
Don’t lallygag, my friend. Don’t stall. When one is young, one tends to believe he/she has plenty of time to think about everything. Not necessarily so, bud. Look around. Lots and lots of people die prematurely. Some don’t even make it out of the womb.
In spite of what the devil might whisper in your ear (mind), you’re not all that special. You don’t really know how much time you have left. Time is so precious. Seek God while He may be found.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Don’t be mislead. Don’t be deceived. You can’t just clean up your act. That’s not what I’m suggesting. You can NEVER clean up your act enough to please God. That’s not what God requires. He knows you can’t (on your own) clean up your act. Most of you already realize this.
So what does God require? He requires that you repent of your wrongdoing and accept the salvation that is provided ONLY through Jesus Christ. That’s the only thing that will please Him. Repent and believe the Gospel (the Good News => in the New Testament).
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Flee the wrath to come, dear children! Please for your own sake… FLEE!!!

Always hearty discussions:
*Is the cosmos bounded or is it unbounded? Is the universe finite or is it infinite?*
*A parallel discussion: is God finite or is He infinite?*
*******
Here’s my take on the second question. As background, there are at least three things that need to be considered – things that God will not do:
Number 1: God will never violate His own Holy Law. God is love. Law is inherently written into love because love *precludes* wickedness. God HATES wickedness. He will not allow nor indulge in wickedness.
Number 2: God will not contradict Himself; nor will He allow reason to disallow his existence (as the atheists so often attempt to do). You always hear the lame (indicting) question of: “can God create a rock so large that He can’t even lift it?” The answer is a simple “no”. God is not an ill-defined conundrum. God will not contradict Himself. I don’t think this question so much disproves the existence of God, so much as it questions the lucidness and rational soundness of the questioner.
Number 3: God will not violate an individual’s free will. The reason for all the injustice, madness, wickedness, and chaos in the world is RAMPANT FREE WILL! We have been given the freedom “to choose between good and evil.” And from Satan on down, there exists rampant free will. Evil has been granted a day in the sun. Evil will not always enjoy this opportunity, however. Actions have consequences. God’s coming Kingdom will banish evil to its own private realm one fine day. Holy Law will be enforced. Make no mistake about it.
God wanted free-willed sentient beings with whom to fellowship. He didn’t want robots or clones. He wanted free-willed, able-to-choose-between-good-and-evil individuals.
***
Now with the above as background, allow me to express my own personal take as to whether or not God is infinite. My simple unadulterated response to that question is simple: “yes, God is infinite.”
And why do I say that you might ask? Well, I’m glad you asked 👍 The Word says:
Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
I don’t know about you, but to me that rather implies that God is not bounded – other than the three above (free-willed) constraints to which He restricts Himself.
If God can do anything, that means the possibilities are endless. Only an infinite hand could create a cosmos stretching toward infinity. As astronomy hypothesizes, the cosmos is seemingly forever expanding. Thereby, the cosmos is asymptotically approaching the boundaries of infinity. It is stretching into the (unconscious) void that also existed pre-eternally. And remember, infinity is never a fully bounded set. The very mathematical definition of infinity is that it is always increasing/expanding (toward an asymptote).
God Himself though? One who is wise enough and powerful enough to create an infinitely expanding universe has to be a God who fully comprehends and embodies infinity. God, Himself (separated from His works), is most probably infinite in the truest possible sense. The creator of an ever-expanding universe has to be a God of infinite capability in my mind.
Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
“Almighty” has the same inherent feel and connotation as “infinity” to me. God has no beginning and no end. He is not only eternal. He is pre-eternal. That sure sounds infinitely-dimensioned to me.
***
Those of you on the fence: will you continue to flaunt your vagrant free will against an INFINITE God? The One who gave you life? The One who loves you dearly? Doesn’t sound wise.
*******

First off: I don’t believe everything I read. I certainly don’t expect you to do so either.
That being said, I do try and read everything I can on certain topics. The demise of the US Dollar and the coming global currency are two of the topics I try to keep track (of).
The below link I received in email is very interesting. It’s basically a sales pitch but it’s still a very good read. Jim Rickards has definitely been on the inside before. The man has rubbed shoulders in the highest places (not necessarily a recommendation, right?).
Now please realize: I’m not necessarily a Trump supporter (this video sort of begins in a pro-Trump mode); but I’m also not anti-Trump either. I’m pretty much A-POLITICAL as far as politics is concerned. The information Jim Rickerds talks about, however, pretty well rings true as to what I’ve previously researched.
Also, up front, realize that I do understand that this link is basically a sales come-on. I have no financial interest in that aspect of this thing though. I am interested in this link because of the kind (and previed-level) of information this man is providing. I suggest reading the transcript version of this deal rather than the video version (the video version is a little too political and starts too slowly for my taste – but hang in there, the piece gets better further on). I highly recommend you somewhat digest this link… just to garner (potential) information. As always, make your own assessment.
Personally (and somewhat fearfully), I pretty much believe the scary scenario Jim Rickerds is painting. There is a gargantuan problem arising. And this thing is liable to blow up sooner rather than later. You just can’t print money forever with total impunity. Never happened in history. S’not going to happen here.
We are probably going to be facing big economic problems SOON, folks. Word up…
You like the rock n’ roll? This is a MUST SEE video if you do. These guys knock it outta’ the park, baby! Super fine electric guitar work! Power Jam!! Symphonic? Indeed!

The most fulfilled and the most interesting people that I’ve ever known are the ones who have pursued their passion(s). These people have a mission and a purpose to their lives that other less fortunate people grievously lack. Self-actualized people who have actually found a purpose in life are usually happier. Life is less able to overwhelm you when you rise above the enslavement mode that is most normally queued up for you by “the machine.”
That being said, it took me too long to find my secondary passion – writing. I was probably a good 50+ years old before I recognized that there was a second driving passion awaiting my attention. Nobody had ever really suggested that I needed to locate a secondary passion – one that might additionally complement my primary passion. Anyway, I was too busy struggling just to get by and tending to family business to worry about niceties’ like this.
So there I found myself – some 50 years down the road before I understood that there was a second passion hiding in the bushes… one that had been waiting for me all the time. The passion that I found at 50+ years of age was that I love to write.
I had enjoyed writing since my junior high school days. It seemed to always provide a useful creative outlet that somehow satisfied me deep inside. However, I had never considered writing to be a life-long ambition. I enjoyed writing… and I was decent enough at it (he spouted humbly and un-objectively). But I never really had the time for it, okay? Too many other pots boiling over. Too busy making a living, etc. etc. etc.
Well, I’m here to tell you. YOU NEED TO CREATE THE PRIORITY OF FINDING OUT WHAT YOUR PASSIONS ARE (if you haven’t already found them). It is essential! It is vital! We were all created for a purpose; but it is up to us to find out what that purpose is. The good news? Your passion(s) will be something that you greatly enjoy. By definition, it will enervate and excite you. It will give you pleasure and a sense of fulfillment that you just won’t be able to satisfy elsewise.
I don’t care what your passion might turn out to be. Your passion might be volunteering. It might be rescuing animals. It might be some field of science. I don’t know. It might be coin collecting. It might be collecting matchbooks. It can be anything on God’s green earth. Doesn’t matter how insignificant your passion might seem to other people – just as long as it’s significant to you – that’s all that matters.
Now you might ask: if writing turned out to be my secondary passion, what was my primary passion? Well, I’m glad you asked… 😁 My primary passion is to seek and perform the will of God.
I did discover my primary passion in life fairly early. I was 25 years old when the good Lord saved my soul. Since that time, I have become richer and richer inside. The joy and the revelation that God has granted is FAR MORE than anything the world could ever have provided. Jesus has become my wildest dream, my wildest imagination come true! Absolutely!!
One of the reasons God created us was to give him pleasure. As unlikely as that prospect sometimes seems to me, that is what I passionately desire. I truly want God to be pleased. I fail God miserably so much of the time that it makes me blanch. However, that’s okay. I have been forgiven. And like everyone, I am a work in progress. As Andrew Wommack says: “I haven’t arrived yet; but I have left.”
Returning back to the original point of this post: I just want to encourage any listening young people to seek their passion(s) early on. Maybe you’ve found that your career is your passion. If so, that’s great. In fact, that’s probably ideal. If you can ever find a way to turn your passion into a concomitant career, that’s absolutely super! I’m envious. However, I deduce that most of us are not able to do that. That being the case, let your job/professional considerations be as consistently compatible with your passion(s) as might be possible.
Anyway… I wish you well, young people. Consider your purpose.
www.pandora.com/neil-young/harvest-moon/harvest-moon/TRcJ465Zpg7xfkg
I love Neil Young’s music. Bob Dylan and Neil Young are considered to be the two most prolific rock n’ roll artists of all time. And two of the best, I would add.
Neil Young’s voice is a little on the quirky side; but I love it. There’s something enchanting to me about his music that I’d have trouble delineating.
No music takes me back to the 1960’s any more than does Neil Young’s. Music is like that. To me, songs are like mental bookmarks. Songs take me back to a particular point in time in a memory-rich fashion that most other fixtures do not.
Musical synapses and fractally-interleaved axions still ring vibrantly loud in my brain though. Sometimes I can’t remember what I was doing just a few seconds ago but rock n’ roll music is something that still remains fiery strong and largely intact.
There’s something peculiar and unique about the way music resides in the brain. I can still pretty accurately whistle musical melodies that I haven’t heard in some 50-plus odd years. It seems kinda’ strange. Hundreds of old musical tunes have remained woefully intact, while other parts of my memory seem to have taken extended hiatuses in Argentina and elsewhere. It seems like music occupies a different part of the brain than do normal remembrances. Anybody else register this kind of impression?

WALMART – by JCT
Walmart here. Walmart there.
Walmart scatters ‘em in the air.
Hand’s a’shakin. Economy’s flakin’.
Towns and people splattered and taken.
*******
That great piece of poetry having been expressed… 🥴 it is with great chagrin that I have to admit that the wife and I do shop at Walmart. We somewhat feel forced to do so because of our dire economic strait. Walmart does pretty well offer the cheapest prices in town. There’s no getting around that. So from one vantage point, Walmart does do some good at this point in time by affording the poor more bang for their inadequate buck. Granted.
There used to be quite a lot of observation about all the small town destruction that had been caused by Walmart though. So many small town, mom-and-pop shops (and lives) have been destroyed as Walmart has moved in and taken over.
But now? You don’t hear much criticism of that nature anymore. Walmart has more than become a permanent fixture in the national landscape. The (probably millions of) lives that Walmart has so adversely affected is a national tragedy though – albeit one that is now buried deeply in the revisionist fields of history.

“With colors that would make Faberge green with envy, the Cartwheel galaxy stands out against a backdrop of other brightly-colored galactic bodies. The Easter egg appearance of this galaxy is due to false colors representing various wavelengths of light — ultraviolet in blue, B-band visible light in green, infrared in red and x-ray radiation in purple.
The ‘rings’ of this galaxy are the aftermath of a collision between the Cartwheel galaxy and another galaxy about 100 million years ago. The first ripple is the blue outer ring, while the yellow-orange “yolk” of the Easter egg is a combination of visible and infrared light from the second ripple. The neon blob and green spiral in the background are two other galaxies, one of which may have been the one that collided with Cartwheel.“

Millions of years later these two spirals will merge — much like the Milky Way and Andromeda will likely do billions of years from now. Sometimes it’s just me – JCT
Is it sometimes just you, as well? I sure hope I’m not the only one.
Fact is, we were born ‘ignernt. If we were able to discern *shoes from shinola* early on we were actually doing pretty well.
“I was born ready.” Have you made that pronouncement before? Hands up… whoops… (surely not moi => 😎).
We were all born ready though, right?
Problem is => we weren’t really.
We were all born ready for trouble. That’s what we encountered as soon as we entered this world. As far as I’d have probably warned you ahead of time though: beware, there’s Big Trouble lurking just over the horizon. No doubt about it.
I don’t mean to be demeaning confidence. Confidence is great. It is absolutely necessary in this world. Gotta’ believe in yourself. Ain’t nobody else gonna’ steer that ship for you (I know: “ain’t” is considered extremely bad grammar; sorry for all the fragments and continual slang).
The point is: we need to continually remind ourselves about exercising a little bit of humility. About exercising a little bit of restraint (I’m talking to myself). We all lose a little bit of perspective at times. Some days, we tend to go off the deep end in some shape, form, or fashion. Allowing ourselves to get too ego-centric is a sure formula for disaster though. We need to remind ourselves of that from time to time (talking to myself again).
Except for Jack Burton (who’s always in Big Trouble) , let’s try to keep it real 🥴
Jack Burton: Okay. You people sit tight, hold the fort and keep the home fires burning. And if we’re not back by dawn… call the president.
Facebook co-founder, Chris Hughes, is the kind of visionary pioneer the people of this country (and the world) sorely need.
Monopoly interests have taken over most of what once was a free trade environment and economy. No more. You and me… we no longer share all that much in the autocratic, big business, deep state economy that now dominates marketplace decisions.
It used to be that big oil ruled the world (and they still are near the top), but now the new movers and shakers like Google, Walmart, Big Pharma, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, etc. increasingly dominate what now takes place in a dire => diversity-diminished, economic marketplace.
Increasingly, at least in my mind, Google is close to taking over the entire planet. Does Google have people’s best interest in mind – as they continue to bury alternative health? Literally millions of people will be adversely affected by the continued censorship of naturopathic health solutions. This is a very big deal and just a small piece of the pie being devoured by Googledom.
Chris Hughes has started the AMF Fund (Anti-Monopoly Fund) that will operate in the public’s best interest against monopoly interests. As related in the below excerpts, several other big backers are now signing up with the AMF Fund:
“The AMF has already signed on some notable backers, including George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Knight Foundation and Redwood City-based Omidyar Network, which was started by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar.”
Below is an excerpt of the link that is attached at the bottom of this post. I would encourage all to read the below article. There is such a continuing mad concentration of power in fewer and fewer hands that mankind is suffering for it badly. There are very few influences that have the public’s TRUE best interest at heart. Maybe the AMF Fund is one exception to this egregious general rule though.
*******
“Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes, who has called upon the federal government to break up the social-networking giant he helped create, on Thursday launched a new $10 million fund aimed at taking on the influence of corporations in politics and rebuilding civic power.
The Anti-Monopoly Fund (AMF) is part of Hughes’ Economic Security Project. According to the group, the AMF will “fill a need of directing resources to organize and expand the efforts of groups that are already working on creating fair markets and implementing smart anti-monopoly enforcement and policy.“
