Anxiety and worry altogether-too-easily creep into our lives. Believers understand that we have an enemy who is intent upon dragging us down. Satan and his dark forces will always try to mentally assail and torment us. The dark side wants to inject worry, doubt, and fear into our lives. If he and his minions can even slightly load us down, they’re somewhat content (at least as content as God haters could ever be).
Always remember: the mind is NOT an intrinsic bastion of retreat and privacy. The mind is, spiritually speaking, largely a battleground. There are a lot of entities swirling around at our conscious periphery injecting things into the ether. We’re not essentially alone in there.
Your heart drives your mind and your mind will drive your actions. There are dark forces from nether perimeters continually trying to do damage inside our heads. It is a war in there sometimes. Too often I find myself wondering: is that my thought (and/or temptation) or is that from the enemy?
I guess it doesn’t really matter. Whatever the source, we are instructed to mortify and resist temptation and fear. The mind is probably our primary battleground. Fight the battle early on so that you don’t have to fight a larger flesh-endowed manifestation later on down the road. ***Best to rebuke those nasties promptly and then “forget about it.” The swifter you can quell bad thoughts, the EASIER it is to permanently crush them.***
Don’t allow the devil’s TRICKS to engage and entertain you. He’s a thief, a liar, and a murderer. We understand that at the outset. The Word says so. THE DEVIL’S JIG IS UP!! And he most definitely doesn’t like that fact!! He’s not going to be able to hide in the weeds anymore and he knows it. Believers know the truth and we have the power to resist. WE HAVE SUPREME VICTORY IN JESUS CHRIST! As you well know ==>> nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God.
It’s going to be okay, brothers and sisters. In the end everything’s going to work out just fine. Just fine. Battle on, dear brethren. Battle on…
