The Moody Blues! This group is one of my all time, ALL-TIME favorite rock n’ roll bands! They are one of the British BIG FIVE in my book.
The BRITISH BIG FIVE: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Electric Light Orchestra, The Moody Blues, and The Who. Rock n’ Roll was birthed in the good ole’ USA. However… big, big however => the roots of rock n’ roll lie just as much in the land of my blimey forefathers as they do in the good ole’ USA.

These guys are some of the greatest lyrical rock n’ roll poets to ever ROCK this planet. Great lyrics and just as FINE a melodic creation (can somebody also trivially observe that they also had some of the best album covers ever done?) I so LOVE the Moody Blues. Bye’ y’all. – JCT
